AHS Student-Athlete Standout Tate Kolwyck Signs to Vanderbilt

Arlington High School Class of 2018 Standout, Harrison “Tate” Kolwyck, signed with Vanderbilt University Thursday, November 9th. Tate earned an Athletic and Academic Scholarship to Vanderbilt University, based on his success both on the field and in the classroom. Tate will be an in-fielder for the Vanderbilt Baseball Team. Joining Tate in his celebration of his many accomplishments is his family Johnny and Julie Kolwyck, his sister Lily Kolwyck, the entire Varisty Baseball Team and AHS Senior Football Players. AHS Baseball Head Coach Chris Ring, along with Coaches Shane Jackson and Mike Thees, also presented Tate with the Tennessee All-State Award for 2017 for his accomplishments this past Baseball season. Tate also earned a spot on “Team Tennessee,” which is a National Recognition of Baseball Excellence. Tate was also surrounded by his Football Coaches, AHS Head Coach Adam Sykes, and Asst. Coach Joshua McElroy. Tate recently set a school Football record for the Career Most Passing Yards for Offense of 11,072 yards and 132 Touchdowns over his entire Football Career.
