On April 4, 2018, Najafi Aghdam shot up Youtube headquarters and then proceeded to kill herself. Her family had reported her missing a few days before, so when police noticed her parked car, they contacted the woman inside. Officers notified her family that she was found, and let her go about her day. Aghdam brother said he called police about his sister, who had a serious grudge against YouTUbe. Her brother told KGTV, “she never hurt a creature”. After learning that she was found near HQs, her brother warned the police that she may “do something”. Only hours before the attack, Aghdam was at a local gun range. Then, she took her handgun to the Silicon Valley campus and shot three people. Two of her victims have been released from the hospital, and one remains in serious condition. She had no connection to the three people she shot. After the attack, she shot herself.
