“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere” says a poster proudly displayed outside new AHS Criminal Justice teacher Mrs.Applewhite’s classroom. Mrs. Applewhite brings her college training with numerous degrees from Henderson State, Chicago State and Arkansas State University. She also has numerous years real-world experience to add value to her classroom with her experience as a community counselor.

Her favorite thing about teaching is “The students phenomenal behavior”.She attended her college years at Henderson State,Chicago State and ,Arkansas State University. At these schools she received her master of science and criminal justice and community counseling. Her school career was just getting started where she started teaching at Millington and continued it at Melrose. “I haven’t been teaching here long enough to formulate an opinion” but she feels like this year is going to be a good year.Outside of AHS she likes too go to the gym and watch her daughter play in the band her at AHS. She is excited about teaching at Arlington and looks forward to a successful year.
