Arlington is finally getting their very own Tennis Courts! The courts will be done before the end of 2019 and everyone is excited for them. The entire community will be able to access the newly-made tennis courts. These courts will be paid for by the city of Arlington, but Arlington High School’s tennis team has priority. Then the middle school team will have priority, and finally the community will be able to use them. Many people have wanted the courts, especially our very own tennis students. Jeffrey Lee, Arlington Tennis’s one seed, says “I’m excited for the courts for the other kids, but I’m not excited that I won’t be able to use them.” Alexa Ocampo, Arlington Girl’s Tennis two seed, said “I’m excited for the other players, but I’m really disappointed that I won’t be able to use them.” The seniors are very jealous that they cannot use the courts, but think that it is about time that Arlington finally got them. Hopefully the courts will be finished this summer so that the seniors, and ourselves, can enjoy playing tennis in the sun at our very own tennis courts in Arlington.
