Jordan Batts

Jordan Batts is a senior Sports Journalist in Ms. Roberts class. This is his first year in any media class. He says, “The class is a great way to showcase some of my favorite things we offer at the school.” He is currently involved in DECA, National Technical Honor Society, and Student Ambassadors. Jordan also is heavily involved in the football team and has been since his ninth grade year. Jordan wants to pursue not only football, but a business major too. Jordan says, “Football is my dream, but I know I need to have another career backup too.”
Although, he is excited to keep training to continue to play football potentially to the next level. Jordan is a very well rounded student and athlete. He has even helped coach the little league team. Jordan has said, “My favorite part about coaching the little league team is seeing the excitement on the kids’ faces when they make a good play.” His involvement throughout Arlington is greatly admired. Most recently, he started working at It’s A Wrapp when it first opened. Jordan says, “I love being able to eat almost free wraps.”
Jordan loves hanging out with friends and relaxing at the house outside of school. When he isn’t working, Jordan is at the basketball courts with his close friends. Jordan says, “I will miss being able to hit up my friends when I want to go somewhere at anytime. It is very sad that we are all leaving soon.”
