Tucker Bearden is a natural on the field, and is a natural in Sports Media Production. Tucker Bearden is a sophomore at Arlington high school. This is Tucker’s second year in the Media Production. His freshman year he excelled in Intro to Media Arts, and that continues into his second year in the Media Arts program.
His love for sports began when he was only four years old, when he started playing baseball. “My favorite memory of baseball was my first beach tournament when I was younger.” When he isn’t at baseball he is either hanging out with his friends or at work, he works at the Nutrition Spot, Lakeland TN. He also loves traveling. His favorite place is Colorado because he loves all the mountains and beautiful view.
You can describe Tucker as a loving, friendly person. He loves to hangout with friends but also needs some alone time. He is so determined to reach his goals for the future and he wont let anything get in front of him. He does anything and everything to be a better athlete than he already is.
He thought Sports Journalism would suit him well, because his love for sports and filming. “My favorite part about taking this class is getting to be able to mess with cameras and watch sports at the same time.” He also believes that athletes deserve the recognition they receive from this class.
He hasn’t fully decided where he wants to go to collage or what he is going to major in, but he definitely plans on using the camera skills in the future. “ The film analysis and camera skills will help me a lot in the future and i would love to continue filming and using my imaginary making film.” He hopes to get drafted for baseball and that will help him decide where to go for college as well.
