School is Cancelled for Arlington High School

On the weather forecast for the week of February 16th there is snow predicted to come to Arlington Tennessee. Throughout the week the word is in the air that school might be out on Wednesday. All day Tuesday, students are trying to make plans with other students for the snow day. After school everyone is impatiently waiting for the phone call from the school. Lily Douglas, Senior at AHS, states that, “After school I was just waiting around for that phone call before I went to my friends house, so I could take full advantage of my snow days.” It is official school is out Wednesday, February 19th, Students had a blast and thoroughly enjoyed the day off. Now students are wishing for a second snow day as they notice there is still snow and ice on the ground. Before we know it, Arlington high school is cancelled for the second day in a row! After a fun-filled two days off of school for snow Arlington high school students will return back to school on Friday, February 21st. Teachers are working to assign school work to finish up the week and get the students back on track.

Breleigh is a junior at AHS. In her free time, she enjoys playing softball as her main sport and cross-fit as training. Breleigh has always enjoyed film and video classes. Her freshman and junior year, she started off by taking intro to film and video, and she is currently taking digital journalism for her second year. She is excited to learn more.
