The Arlington Baseball Team kicks off their season next Monday, March 11, against a tough Covington opponent. The team has been working very hard this off season and is well prepared. When asked about the season last year, senior Parker Douglas said, “we had a strong season last year with making it to state but disappointed with the results. We hope to make it further this year.” The team was 19-11 last season with a trip to Murfeesboro for the state tournament. The team recently added a new training coach, Gus Vandervoort, to help get the guys in shape for the 3-4 month long season. The Tigers’ have been working relentlessly at getting better in every aspect of the game. They have been focusing on mobility while gaining strength in the weight room.
