Although Blaine Brewer is a new teacher at Arlington High School, he has Arlington roots. He was a graduate of Arlington High School in 2009.

Since graduating from Carson-Newman University and UT-Chattanooga , he taught at East Ridge High School for 2 years and East Hamilton School, both located in Chattanooga  before coming here.

“My wife and I had been wanting to move back to the area to be near family and a job opened up here. It was a no brainer to try to come teach at Arlington if we wanted to move back.”

Mr.Brewer is a History teacher and he said, “I love history. It’s fun for me to teach. It was my favorite growing up.”

He said “I am also blessed to have the opportunity to be an Assistant Boys Basketball Coach and an Assistant Girls Track Coach.
