Last weekend, Arlington High’s Varsity volleyball competed at the River City Classic Volleyball Tournament. Arlington competed in Pool D, first against St. Benedict, winning 25-10 and 25-23. Then they played Crocket Co. and won with an ending score of 25-18 and 25-22. In the last game of the Pool D bracket, Arlington took the win against Marion to take them to the Gold Bracket, winning 25-22 back to back. In the first game of the gold bracket, Arlington played Bartlett and lost the first set but followed their loss with two wins against the rivals. This took them to the Semifinals where they took on TRA in two very close games. TRA beat them 28-26 and then 25-19. Their journey in this tournament came to end, but they played hard and did they best they could. Go Tigers!
