“One afternoon, Tuesday after school, I didn’t want to go outside it was hot and raining. I said screw it, and went out and climbed a tree and got in my deer stand, I wore snake boots, and I was sitting there. It was killing time. A few bucks were coming out and I pulled out my bow and killed one. I called Coach Ring and he helped me drag it out of the woods to my truck. I made the national pope and young record book with a bow and arrow. My score was 148 when I shot the deer. Afterwards I ate him.”
