Connor Christian(CC) is a very talented football player at Arlington High School. Connor started playing for the tigers in his junior year of high school. CC plays on kick-off, kick-return, wide receiver, and cornerback, a very versatile player. CC thinks Arlington has a chance a winning the state title as he comments “we have been getting better overall as a team and I think we are just as good as anyone else out there.” Connor hasn’t been affected at all by COVID-19, but the tickets to be able to go to the game as a family member or close friend has been changed. Every football player can pass out 5 tickets to his close friends and family. The seniors this year have taken the place of many graduated seniors of this past year. CC believes in his buddies and thinks this year will be a great year for the team. CC says “Ive got my circle with all my close friends but I’m no stranger to the whole team.” If you go to Arlington, you know CC, and if you don’t I think you should get to know him. He is a genuine and caring person at heart but definitely puts on a game face on the field. Connor Christian played in the game this past Friday against the Brighton Cardinals. He was on the kick-off team and after the kick he rushed the player with the ball. As he changes directions to tackle the player, he hyperextends his left knee and tore his ACL. “I had so much pain in my knee and it just started spreading everywhere else”, this injury has ended his high school football career. Please keep Connor in your prayers for a speedy recovery.
