Jennifer Harvey is a new teacher at Arlington Middle School who teaches Enriched Math and STEM. In addition to being a new teacher in Arlington Community Schools, she is also a new resident, with her newly built home in city of Arlington. Her daughter attends the Arlington Elementary School and she wanted to “stay nearby her home and my daughter’s school and district.”

Mrs. Harvey says, “Ever since I was little I wanted to be a teacher.” She was always focused on becoming an educator.

Mrs. Harvey talks about how proud she is of her students because they love taking her class, while understanding the work effort that it involves. She loves teaching 6th grade to “get them ready for middle school.” She loves teaching math because “there is always a right answer.”

Mrs. Harvey says she really likes Arlington and everyone here is “very welcoming and helpful.”
