Shelby County rolls out at-home vaccination program.
Due to the ongoing global pandemic, a percentage of people are forced to stay at home to stay away and quarantined from the virus. This disallows them to go and make contact with other people, and some people quarantined are simply not comfortable going out to get their vaccine. Luckily, the city of Memphis has teamed up with local firefighters to assist in vaccinating people stuck at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is all thanks to “The Mobile Paramedicine Program”, which was founded in 2015, providing medical needs to people at home, and has now taken on a new task with providing vaccines to homebound people in need of the new COVID-19 vaccine.
