Kenzie Fields

Arlington High School

Welcoming our former rival? Kenzie Fields, who graduated from Bartlett High School in 2015, is now teaching Anatomy and Physiology here at Arlington High School. Ms. Fields is not only a new teacher at Arlington, but also a new teacher in general. She recently graduated from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas in May 2019. She is also coaching our school’s volleyball team. Before coming to Arlington, she worked as a substitute teacher as while working on her Masters. Ms. Fields hopes she’s not too traditional for her students, “I’m not right old school, I want people moving around talking and hands on”, and wants to get to know them “I’m very personal, can talk to you, get to know you, and very easy going, but also very shy”.

If you think you can’t study anymore, or you can’t do this, just one day at a time. You’ll get through it.

— Kenzie Fields

Ms. Fields is really active when it comes to volleyball, and used to play for Bartlett, and ASU, “I played four years of division one volleyball. I’m really proud of making it through the demands of being an athlete and a student”. At some point in the future, she would like to be a head volleyball coach. Fields is excited to be here at Arlington, and hopes her students know “ School can be fun, it doesn’t have to be all business and serious”.
