Danielle Kinningham

Danielle Kinningham, is a determined teacher with one thing on her mind. “When you see that aha moment in students, there’s just nothing like it. You actually feel like, okay, I did something today. I didn’t just teach these kids, they actually learned it and grasped the content.”

Danielle.Kinningham is determined to stand out from the crowd during her first year at Arlington Community Schools. Kinningham, a native of Oakland, Tennessee and antorred alumn of the University of Memphis, is not new to the teaching world. She has over 9 years of teaching experience. However, being new to Arlington Community Schools, she says she faces big challenges. “I just wish there was more time in the day. I plan for a day but you feel like there’s just never enough time.” Rather than her being overwhelmed with challenges, there are are many positives she believes are in her favor. “I love my team. They are just fantastic. The kids are great as well. Like they’re so personable. They’re at a really good sweet age.”

Another thing that makes Mrs. Kinningham special is her goals for students. “I just like the motivation, and determination of wanting to learn, it’s one thing being in the classroom, but seeing that motivation that they actually want to learn. That’s such a good quality.”
