What is one of your favorite memories in the classroom?
“It was when I was student teaching actually, because I wasn’t 100% sure if I liked teaching until I student taught and actually got in the classroom. That’s when I realized that I actually enjoyed it. The kids knew that I had to pass this course and get a certain score. Before I could get my teaching license, and then the day I got my the day after I got my results, I went in the classroom and told them that I passed and they were all really excited about it. At the time, I was also a waitress and when I got the results, I was at work. One of my students was with her family in the restaurant, and so she was actually there when I found out and said that she was proud. Anyway, it was a good time. It was a good time in my life.”
