Garrett Owens is a 16 year old sophomore in Arlington’s Sports Media class. He goes through this class with struggles just as many students in school. “My hardest challenge of taking Sports Media is definitely time management.” Garrett is a great example of a hardworking student. He creates interesting projects while also getting to benefit from learning while working.”My favorite assignments in the class are probably the Athletes of Arlington or the Player Spotlights.” His favorite part of being in Sports Media is getting to know so many new people and getting to learn how production works.

He also has a little sister that is in 5th grade at Arlington Elementary. Garrett is very involved with church outside school. “I go to church every Wednesday with my girlfriend and friends.” In his free time he loves to work out and spend time with his girlfriend, friends, and family.
