Hannah Russell
Hannah Russell, who is a Sports Media Production journalist, is able to manage this task while also staying very involved in school and clubs. Hannah stated “I am an honors student, athlete, and member of several clubs in my school.” Hannah is a varsity player on the soccer team and she’s also in Beta Club, DECA, and Spanish Club.
She enjoys being in Sports Media Production because it allows her to learn more about the sports in her school. She stated “I love getting to broadcast sports and post for them on our social medias.” She’s very thankful that she’s in this class and she definitely would recommend it to other students as well.
She wants to major in marketing in college, so she loves that this class is preparing her to go into that career field. “I love getting to use Canva to create new designs and get to post them on our social media.” She’s confident that the skills she’s gaining from this will help her in her future. Not only does this prepare her for her future career, but it also helps her during soccer currently. “Taking this class allows me to gain better communication skills that I can use to help communicate with my teammates and coaches.”
She is also considering playing soccer in college, so these communication skills will help her communicate with colleges and future scouts. “I am excited for my future and the opportunities I will receive from taking this course. If it wasn’t for this course, I wouldn’t feel so prepared for my future career and academics.”
