The best thing about Sports Production class, is students get to realize the potential for off and on camera work. For Ava Siler, signing up for the Sports Media class was about learning new things.

Out of school and her enrollment in Sports Media, Ava Silver is a 17 year old girl that has a a lot more to her. Ava is a busy girl with not much free time. When she’s not working on her Sports Media assignments, she is working at Spring Creek Ranch golf course, spending time with her friends, spending time with her significant, and making sure she values the quality time she has to spend with family. She is a part of Active Minds, Film Appreciation Society, and Beta Club. During her time in Sports Media, it has taught her what really goes on behind cameras. “It’s made me realize how like smart and creative writers are and how much work they put into a show. It makes me realize how perfect a shot needs to be how on-air talent needs to be doing his best. It just made me understand the film world a lot more and be able to appreciate it a lot more honestly”, Ava stated. Ava also explained that after being on screen and seeingg what goes on behind the camera, it has made her want to be on screen and possibly pursue this career in the future.
