Chick-fil-a has spread its wings and opened up a brand-new restaurant in Lakeland, right in the Lake District. On Wednesday, March 20, 2024, a group of people gathered, including the store operator, Lakeland city officials, and other employees to finally cut the ribbon for the new location.
The new location consists of 130 employees, one mobile drive-thru lane, and a regular drive-thru lane. It’s considered to be the largest in the region and many feel it’s a great addition to the Lakeland area, and that business will be booming due to its location right along I-40.
“I love how close it is to Arlington, as I’m not having to drive all the way to the Wolf Creek location anymore,” says AHS student Aubrey Hallowell.
The new location officially opened Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 6 a.m.
