On Tuesday, November 6th, AHS held a Mock Election for students outside the Cafeteria during all four lunches.

Students who participated received “I voted” stickers.

Tables were set up in the hallway outside of the Cafeteria doors to encourage students to participate in the AHS mock election.

Students were able to vote for President, Representatives, and Senators.

The Ballot was on iPads so students were encouraged to bring their iPads to lunch.

Students got to help run the mock election and encourage their peers to vote.

Posters were hung around the school to get students ready for the AHS Mock Election on November 5.

TheBallot was on student’s iPads via a Google form. The Ballot included Presidential candidates, State Representatives, and Senators.

Chloe Spence, Journalist
Chloe is a senior at AHS. She enjoys hanging with friends and shopping. She works at Linen Rose Boutique in Arlington and manages the social media accounts for AHS Student Ministry and her church’s youth group. This is Chloe’s second year in Digital Journalism. After high school, Chloe hopes to attend the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and study nursing to become a nurse practitioner.
