S.Y. Wilson annually decorates for Christmas. Their large tree is up in the front of their store right now.
S.Y Wilson has a very detailed Christmas village up in their windows each year, and it takes a week worth of 8 hour days to completely set up.
The Christmas villages contain many intricate pieces including buildings, lights, single-piece people, garland, snow, trees, and more.
The grand village displays line the entirety of the front and back windows of S.Y Wilson.
The village has different themes, including a grinch themed Who-ville, up for display.
A life-sized Grinch peaks from the balcony above the Who-ville village.
The annual village display is up from the end of November to right after Christmas.
Each village piece comes individually packaged, and the owner of the villages stores them in their original packaging to keep it organized and safe.
The villages have hidden Grinches throughout for a Grinch scavenger hunt. A paper guide is provided for those wishing to hunt for Grinches during the open hours of S.Y Wilson.
The Arlington Depot Square homes the annual Christmas tree for the Arlington community which was lit on November 22, 2024.
Throughout the square, there are giant light-up decorations, including a present.
The decorators had trouble with the lights at first, but they troubleshot and got them working for the community.
