Mrs. Johnson created the R.E.S.T. room as a place where students and teachers could go during school if they are in need of somewhere to go to relax, calm down, and R.E.S.T.

The R.E.S.T. room has three different rest areas that are separated by curtains so multiple people can use the R.E.S.T. room at once.

There is a separate chair with a back and foot massager for teacher use only.

The lights are dimmed in the R.E.S.T. room to make for a calmer atmosphere, as many students feel more relaxed with the lights turned down.

The R.E.S.T. room has many thoughtful design details in order to make the room a more homey and relaxing environment.

A slideshow is put up in the R.E.S.T. room to give students ideas on how to control their mental health.
