I got with the guys this week for one final time on the podcast to talk about our  senior year.

We discussed many different things such as our favorite memories of High School, our favorite teachers, and our favorite years of High School Freshman to Senior year.

Some of our favorite memories in High School involved some of our best friends wether it was at football games, hangouts, or Prom. Dustin talked about some of his favorite memories with his friends.

“My favorite memories will always be those block parties at my buddies houses, they were always really fun. We’d have like 300 people, we would park all the way up and down the street and just hangout.”

When it comes to favorite teachers, we had a lot in mind. Teachers that range from different subjects and ages. Cooper talked about some of his favorite teachers.

“I would say out of my favorite teachers I would say there’s a tie between Mrs Bateman & Coach Manthe. I also love Mrs Jones, she’s a cool Dual English teacher.”

Last but not least we talked about what our favorite class was this year. And there was no doubt, it had to be Digital Journalism.

Me, Dustin, and Cooper all enjoyed creating podcasts, video stories, written stories, and so much more.

But more than that we all enjoyed having Mrs Bateman as our teacher, as we said on the podcast.

Personally, Digital Journalism will go down as arguably my favorite class in all of High School. It really gives you an opportunity to dive into cool things such as sports writing, photography, and social media.

Eventually, I would like to pursue the field of Journalism whether it be in college or some time in the near future. And I would say this class did a great job of previewing that for me. I will always remember this class.
