Post Malone Beale Street Music Fest

Over the past weekend, May 4th- May 6th, many talented musical artists preformed at Memphis’s own Beale Street Music Festival. The festival draws in crowds of people each year from all over the country. Every May thousands of fans come to see their favorite performers, but this year’s crowd was record breaking. Austin Richard Post, aka Post Malone, performed Sunday May 6th on the Bud Light stage at 8:30pm. He is said to have had the largest number of attendants for a single artist in the festivals‘ history. Fans of all ages gathered to see the wonderful two hour show. While his performance was incredible, there were some downfall to the show. With the crowd being as large as it was, there were many safety issues for the fans. People were pushing and shoving to get out of the crowd, and many passed out due to dehydration or heat exhaustion. Overall the show was a huge success even with a few hiccups.
