Heather Trim

One of the programs at Arlington High School that has strong community ties is the Health Science Department, and with a new Nursing Teacher, we can only expect it to continue to be stronger.

Heather Trim is a first year teacher of Health Sciences and Medical Therapeutics, leaving the Medical Profession to teach young aspiring students who wish to move into this career. When asked about how she likes the transition to teaching high school, she said “I just love the students and the atmosphere.”

Trim worked at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital for five years. It was there she developed a love for the medical field and for children. She decided she wanted to educate young adults that want to strengthen their medical skills prior to entering college. “I love working with children, and educating them on the field that I love.”
