Julia Moeller is a new teacher at Arlington Community Schools. Mrs. Moeller teaches 7th Grade Math at Arlington Middle School.
Although she may be a new face at AMS, this is her seventh year as an Educator.
Mrs. Moeller was unsure about the education field as her career, but education runs deep in her family tree. “My mother, grandmother, and even great-grandmother were teachers, but I wanted to break that cycle. But I ended up coming back to it later.”
Her favorite age range to teach is middle school because “they are all over their place, and I’m never bored.”
The best part is being able to see the progression, growth, and maturity of their personalities.

Moeller describes her love of being a teacher. “other jobs it’s a rhythm and nothing changes. But with teaching it changes everyday”
She was led to Arlington by some of her friends that spoke highly of their position in Arlington Community School District. She looked into Arlington’s mission and loved how they focus on teaching the whole child and not just the content.
“I love it here,” says Mrs. Moeller. And by how much fun her students were having in class, it looks like the students love her too.
