Mrs. Dunnam is a 2nd grade teacher at Donelson Elementary School. She has dreamed of being a teacher since she was in first grade. “It was actually my 1st grade teacher who inspired me to want to become a teacher.”
Before she taught at Donelson, she taught for 4 years in Dyersburg and 3 years in New Albany, Mississippi.
Her favorite thing about teaching is building relationships with the students that will last even after they have left her class.
I want my students to remember me for treating them with kindness and each of them as an individual.

Her favorite food is Mexican food and when she isn’t teaching she is hanging out with her husband and daughter.
She also enjoys going to church and shopping. If she was given two wishes she would take a trip to Italy and go to a Thomas Rhett concert.
