Shelby Ritter

Shelby Ritter is a new teacher at Arlington Elementary. She has been a Speech Pathologist for 14 years. Although she may be new to Arlington Community Schools, this is her 15th year of teaching.

When asked why she became a speech pathologist for children she replied, “I decided to become a speech pathologist because it is a great mix between the education and medical world.

Mrs. Ritter was very enthusiastic on her decision to be a teacher, and the reason she loves coming to work. “I love helping kids learn how to talk and be able to share their thoughts with the world.”

Her favorite part of teaching is loving her kids and help them progress. She also loves getting the summer off to spend time with her friends and family.

I love getting to help each student find their true voice.
