“One day during summer I was home alone and my sister went to get her friend from sonic and I kept hearing weird noises and so I looked over and the kitchen window was open and it kinda freaked me out. And I thought that somebody was trying to get into the house. I got so scared that I didn’t want to get off my bed so I just put the blanket up and covered myself up. Then I started hearing a bunch of sirens and police cars and fire trucks and all that driving around my neighborhood and it started to freak me out even more. Then, my dogs started barking and they just kept barking at nothing and I didn’t know what it was. All of a sudden I heard a knock on my window and it scared the mess outta me, I thought there was an intruder trying to get into my house so I ran out my front door and ran to my neighbors house and I asked him what all the sirens were for and I told him that I heard a knock on my window and that I was scared somebody was trying to get into my house. And then I get a call from my sister and she said ‘where are you?’ And I said ‘I’m at the neighbors house don’t go in the house someone’s in there’ and she said ‘That was me knocking on your window, that’s not an intruder’ and to this day I am still embarrassed.”
