Mrs. Laurinda Lamb is a new Work-Based Learning teacher at Arlington High School. She has lived in Tennessee over the past twenty years and currently lives in Brownsville. With over sixteen years in the education field, she believes the biggest challenge is the sheer amount of students and teachers at Arlington High School and being labeled as the “newbie”. Especially coming from a smaller school with around eight-hundred kids total. With this being said, she loves “interacting with students” and being able to grow them as young adults. Besides Work-Based Learning, she is also teaching business communications, business management, and advanced computing classes. Mrs. Lamb believes that Schoolgy, Zoom, and other online platforms to assist learning, will benefit everyone greatly this year. She said she is “excited to be a part of Arlington High School and all the opportunities it offers.”
