As we all know, this year has been a wild one. Seniors all around the country have missed out on events that they have looked forward to their whole life. In the midst of all of the cancellations, Arlington High has decided to start a new tradition. Starting with the class of 2021, seniors will be given the chance to paint their parking spots. For many students, this was a light that they have been waiting for. Senior Tristan Pfeifer said, “It was nice to be given an opportunity to participate in a senior activity that was COVID safe.” The painting days were separated by what number spot you have in the senior lot. Students and parents were also required to wear a mask while on the school campus. These guidelines were set in place for the safety purposes of the students and families involved.
