With Covid raging on, many businesses are still struggling to stay afloat. Some have had to make dire decisions like cutting their spending cost, or firing some employees. Of course, some businesses have been able to bounce back from the deadly virus by instilling new rules and regulations.
One business in particular is Joy McDaniel’s Academy of Dance. With two different studios, one located in Arlington and the other in Cordova, dancers have still been able to pursue their passion. Unlike the past years, now some classes are completely virtual. They are also requiring dancers to wear masks and stay six feet apart. While it is sometimes difficult, the students and teachers are still having fun.
JMAD has also created a new tradition that enables the families to enter in and win a monthly basket filled with many goodies. As of now, hopefully the annual recital that usually occurs in May will happen but students are still continuing to work on their Christmas dance!
Hopes and prayers to the local businesses during these hard times!
