Senior’s Last Weeks!

Getting closer to the finish line
Senior’s Last Weeks!

Seniors are getting closer to the finish line. In other words, they only have two weeks left of high school. Today, Friday April 25th, they have their last pep rally as an Arlington Tiger. This pep-rally recognizes the fall sports, prom queen and king, and ends the day with a round of fun games.

AHS wants seniors to enjoy their last weeks here at school, therefore, next week is senior dress up week. Seniors start off the week with Kindergarten Day. This is where you flashback to your first day of school and match your outfit you wore for that day. A senior at Arlington High School, McKenzie Walker, says, “My first day, I wore jean shorts and a T-shirt. Therefore, I am going to wear a kid’s shirt, jeans, and my hair in pigtails.” Many senior girls have the same idea as Mckenzie. Transitioning, Tuesday is Senior Citizen Day. Wednesday is The Future Day, meaning seniors are supposed to dress in their college or career choice. Thursday is Senior Pride Day. They are supposed to wear all their 2025 gear.

Lastly, Friday May 2nd, all seniors have field day. This day involves hours of bouncy houses, games, relay races, and tons of other fun activities. This event is specialized to allow seniors to end the year off in a fun, positive manner. This week is focused on just the seniors to give them a week of feeling prioritized and show everyone’s love towards them.
