Ms Fausel , an 8th garde math teacher at AMS,enjoys teaching  at AMS so far this year. Before AMS Ms Fausel taught at Byhalia High School in Marshall County, Mississippi. In applying for teaching jobs in the area, “I saw an opening for a math teacher at Arlington Middle and decided to apply – this was before I knew much about the school, of course. I interviewed with Dr. Clark and Mrs. Lukas in early April, and was excited to be offered a job a few days later” Before making a decision, Ms Fausel wanted to come to see the school to get a feel for the community and environment. In observing lessons by Mr. Scearce (now an AHS teacher) and Mr. Reed (8th Grade Physical Science).”I knew I wanted to work here.I have noticed many other teachers at AMS are hard-working, and this is an infectious mindsetIt makes me want to become a better teacher”Students at Arlington Middle School are lucky to have the opportunity to be involved in so many clubs and after-school activities. “In the spring, I look forward to acting as the Theater sponsor and working with students to put on a spring musical.” Ms Fausel looks forward to a great year with great students.
