The round table discussions are now in session. No, not King Arthur’s. Mrs. Lea Chisum leads the senior round tables which are “…monthly events scheduled for senior parents to attend. It is an opportunity for senior parents to encourage one another, ask questions regarding this eventful year, and share with one another” says Mrs. Chisum. Now these aren’t your standard parent sessions, these are grade specific for senior parents. They’ve been running since the beginning of the year and the feedback from the parents has been absolutely positive. Senior parents should really take part in these discussions because “…it gives them the opportunity to gain information, get advice, and receive support during this time in their child’s life from other senior parents” says Mrs. Chisum. If any parents would like to be apart of these round table discussions they can refer to the dates they were sent in the fall or email Mrs. Chisum at: [email protected].
