“One day, it was my little brother’s birthday party, and I had all my friends come over as well as his. We went ding-dong ditching, and we split up into teams. We finished ding-dong ditching, and then we were supposed to meet up afterwards. We all met up but realized one of our friends was missing, so we had to go back and find that friend. We found him, but he ended up getting caught by some parents, and the parents wanted to go talk to our parents. We were like, ‘okay’ and we followed them. My little brother was all the way behind me and he told me that we should ditch them [the parents who caught the friend]. After another minute passed, he just kept on telling me that we should ditch them; just run away from them because they aren’t fast enough to keep up with us. I was like, ‘ I don’t know; we might get in more trouble”. However, I was thinking in my head, ‘They don’t even know where I live.’ So then, my little brother told me to come on and I was like ‘Alright, lets go!’ and we just dipped. We ran all the way back home and I was the first one back home. My friend Brenton was already in my garage somehow, and he opened up the garage door just in time. I looked back and another friend of mine, Colby Cruzen, was right behind me. I was surprised because he is a little bigger.”
