“We played a big role during the pandemic which included moving patients of all varieties due to hospitals being completely full.” Flight ambulance services are a booming business and this particular one will be moving our way and across the rest of the state very soon.

“Being a med-evac company, we are able to transport patients that are in critical condition much faster than an ambulance can, but we also transfer patients to other hospitals across long distances if needed”.

Steve Perry is the Director of Compliance for Survival Flight Inc., a company that has many bases across the nation “My career as a first responder started at the age of 18 when I became a Firefighter and Paramedic for the Memphis Fire Department, I became a Flight Paramedic in 2015 for Survival Flight. Shortly thereafter I became Director of Corporate Compliance in 2020”.

 

When asked what his job consist of he said this “a lot of what I do involves me traveling from base to base make sure audits, inspections, and the base itself runs smoothly, as well as as employees are upholding to our standards. I also spend a lot of time setting up new bases and expanding the company”

 

“We spend a lot of time of time in Memphis as we transport many patients to the hospitals here as well as we have a base at the Millington airport and will soon be making our way across the rest of the state”.
