As the flowers begin to bloom and the weather becomes warmer, Arlington Tiger baseball begins to heat up. “I am very excited to see how this season will go, and even more ready to watch each player grow,” says Brad Smith, Arlington’s new head Baseball Coach. Smith came to Arlington in 2021 with high hopes for the Tigers. Coming from Tipton-Rosemark Academy, Smith had a lot of adjusting to do. “I knew having him here would be a great help to the baseball department in general, he was always a lot of competition,” states Connor Ferguson, Arlington Baseball’s Assistant Coach. Smith coached at Tipton- Rosemark Academy for 13 years before coming to Arlington High School. Prior to TRA, Smith was an assistant coach at Briarcrest Christian High School, and an assistant coach at Covington High School. “Out of all places I have been to, Arlington really sticks out because of the rich tradition of the baseball program over the years,” says Smith. This will be Smith’s second season with the Tigers. Go Tigers!
