Kenneth Walker, Arlington High School football legend was drafted in the 2nd round by the Seattle Seahawks. “Kenny,” as AHS students call him, can tell you about how exciting and electrifying he was to watch in high school. He was the first running back in Arlington High School history to reach over 1,000 yards rushing. If you were to ask any of the students about Kenny they’ll tell you about how much of a “beast” he was in High School. He started off his career at Wake Forest, a D1 institution located in Michigan; In his two years played at Wake Forest he averaged 1,200 yards from scrimmage and 17 touchdowns. In 2021, he transferred to Michigan State University for his junior season. It’s safe to say that this was the year for him. At Michigan State, Kenny popped off for 1,725 yards from scrimmage and a total of 19 touchdowns. His performance at Michigan State would get him in the running for Heisman which is a huge deal, he would also win the Walter Camp and Doak Walker Awards in 2021. Kenneth Walker has made the Arlington Community proud, and we can’t wait to see him ball out in the NFL.
