Ashley Burns is the owner of The Little Studio on the Square. The studio was opened in 2017 and is a art studio. They provide camps, parties, paint events, and workshops. Ashley says that this is a place for every body to relax and enjoy painting. “We love that this is a place for everybody, whether your a kid or a adult, its just a place where you can relax.

The history of the studio goes way back as far as the 1900’s.  It served as a feed shop to S.Y Wilson which is right next-door. The back door of the studio was used to load hay on carriages. In the early 2000’s it was a children’s clothing boutique. The whole studio is original and Ashley says there is photographs of how it used to look like. “You can go to the town square and look at original photos of the shop”.

The studio offers adult paint nights, bible journaling, and junk journaling. Her one rule is to have fun because painting is supposed to be fun. Every thing about the studio studio drew Ashley and her husband in. The studio spoke to the heart of Arlington in her eyes. “Something that had heart, and that’s what this shows to us.
