Amanda Martelli has always had aspirations of starting her own business. When the time has finally come she is nothing but beyond excited. Amanda is opening her own sports bar inside of the Lakeland/Arlington area where sports fans can watch any special game that is on or just to hangout with the family. This is what she had to say, “Owners Box is an upscale sports restaurant where you can watch all of your sporting games that you want to watch.

The surrounding area has needed a restaurant like this to come to life. With not many restaurants in the area, Arlington and Lakeland citizens can expect for Owners Box to be what the area has needed. Amanda’s goal for Owners Box is for the community to have the feeling of being at the games without actually being there. She notes that Owners Box will stand out from other sports bars because “ we have more of an upscale feel in the restaurant. Of course we have all the TV’s and projectors, along with 24 beers on tap. A lot more of your local Memphis brewed craft beer.”

Amanda talks about the hardest things when opening up a restaurant. She says supply chain has been very hard for her. Covid came right around the door when they started this major project. Covid alone set the team and her back more than what they expected. She is still having trouble getting chips in for different machines on the floor and in the kitchen. When asked about what she’s most excited for she said this, “I love being at work. I worked at a sports bar for 14 years, and I loved seeing all the guest come in. Having everyone excited for the games made it a great environment to work in.”
