On Tuesday, March 26th, the AHS Varsity Baseball team beat Southwind 23-0. Head Coach, Johnathon Moody, says “The guys played well, and I’m glad we were able to get a win.”
He added that Senior Jack Pitts stood out during the game. “Jack Pitts was 2-2 on the day with multiple RBI and stolen bases. And Luke Miller, Seth Buchanan, and Will Turner combined for a no-hitter.”
Looking forward to the rest of the season, Moody says, “The goal for this team this year is to play to their capabilities. I want our team to maximize their potential and play with one heartbeat. If the team can get to this point, it should be a special season.”
