Arlington Varsity Tigers couldn’t keep up with Lewisburg Varsity Patriots and fell 9-1 on Friday at Lewisburg High School.

Lewisburg Varsity Patriots got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after #34 grounded out, and #10 singled to right field, each scoring one run.

Lewisburg Patriots added two runs in the second after #23 doubled down the right field line.

Gabby Brewer pitched for the Arlington Tigers. The right-handed pitcher went three and one-third innings, surrendering seven runs on eight hits, striking out none and walking two.

Mckenzie Walker, Brittanie Layton, and Juleann Roberts each collected one hit for Arlington Tigers.

Lewisburg Patriots tallied 10 hits in the game. Leadoff hitter #15 led Lewisburg Patriots with three hits in three at bats. #23 and #3 were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in three runs for Lewisburg Patriots. #27 collected two hits for Lewisburg Patriots in four at bats.
