Next school year the school will be introducing a new class for students to take. The class will be weightlifting and will be treated as a elective. And be taught by Coach Sally.  Weightlifting is is an athletic discipline in the modern Olympic program in which the athlete attempts a maximum-weight single lift of a barbell loaded with weight plates. This will teach students the proper way to weight lift and gain muscle. This will help them when they are going to the gym and wanting to lift weights. When it comes to lifting weights there are many pluses such as stronger core results in better posture 60% of people who weight lift get an average of 7 hours or more of sleep and lowers bad cholesterol and blood pressure.
