Cannon Linebaugh on Making the All-Region Team

Cannon Linebaugh had a great season, however, it might not have ended in his favor.

“The season went pretty good, it didn’t end like I wanted it to, but overall it was a pretty good season.

Besides making exceptional plays as a receiver, cannon also performed in other positions on the field.

“I played linebacker when I wasn’t running for the ball.”

Cannon was noticed this season for his exceptional skills in game, and received awards based on his performance. .

“I got 1st team all region for receiver, and honorable mention for linebacker.”

Obviously, cannon stood out this season as he won two awards.

“I made some good plays on offense, and did my job on defense.”

Although he was excited about getting on the all region team, cannon refuses to stop there.

“It’s a great honor, but I’m looking forward to next year and trying to get all state.”

With the opportunity of playing in the all region game, cannon seems most excited about meeting new talent.

“I’m looking forward to playing with a bunch of other kids from around the city, and seeing how much talent we have.”

Besides meeting new people and creating new teammates, cannon seems to enjoy spending time with his team in Arlington.

“For the most part I get along with my teammates, sometimes practice gets a little chippy but other than that its fine.”

Although cannon performed exceptionally this season in football, he would like to continue his athletic career in college playing a different sport.

“Playing football in college is a possibility right now, I’m really trying to play baseball in college, but I’m looking forward to the opportunities football brings me.”
