PAVE Field Trip

Recently, the PAVE students of Arlington High School took a field trip to The University of Memphis and visited the Journalism Department. They also visited the Running Pony.
At Running Pony, they met the director, editors, and producers. They also got a tour of the entire place and got to see how things were done there. At the University of Memphis, they met the head of the department and saw how they do things there. They also got to try the cameras themselves and see how the work.
Hudson Criswell said, “This was a great learning experience. I really got to see the different ways of filming. I also got to bring tips I learned in there to my class and put them into use.” These field trips showed the seniors future job opportunities.
PAVE is Arlington High School’s Performing Arts and Visual Experience Fine Arts Academy.
