Interviewing Lauren Warrington made us feel like we had already known her for a long time. She welcomed the opportunity to speak with us about her first year here at Arlington High School. ” Ms. Warrington is a familiar face here at Arlington High School, as she was a substitute teacher for the Social Studies department last year. This year, she decided she wanted to fulfill a career teaching as an economics and AP Macroeconomics teacher at our school. She loved Arlington and thought the students were absolutely great; therefore, she decided she was going to be a teacher here with us. She grew up in this area, and knew it would be a great opportunity to stay around where she had a childhood. A reason that she wanted to teach economics is because she wanted to teach seniors and help them get where they need to be in order to get ready for college. Lauren Warrington explains economics as the study of choices, and how you use limited resources to meet your wants and needs that are unlimited. So far, she has very much enjoyed being here.
