I am interviewing Kelly Wortham she is a third grade teacher at Donelson elementary school. We asked her if she thought teaching was hard? She responded with “teaching is a hard job, but at the same time it is rewarding”. I also asked her if she has always lived in Arlington or just moved here? She states “ I don’t currently live in Arlington but I live nearby. I recently moved back to the area after moving out of state for two years.

I also asked her how she was adapting to teaching with COVID. She said that she has had to change a lot in the class room one thing she can’t do anymore is group work which could really help her kids. She also teaches reading, math, science, and social studies. She says that she wanted to go into the education field because her teachers in her life had such a big impact on her that she wanted to be a teacher and a make a impact on others.
